Marten Supports Charitable Causes through Holiday Competition

Marten’s Inaugural Holiday Charitable Giving Program brought members of the firm together to get out of their homes and safely get active with family and friends, all while raising funds for their chosen charitable causes.

With over 75 percent firm participation, employees were divided into four teams, and earned points for each hour or mile of activity they completed. Marten employees walked, ran, biked, skied, swam, danced, rode horses, and completed other fun activities with their families, friends, and pets for a month-long competition.

As a result of the competition, Marten employees selected the following charities to receive a sizable donation from the firm:

• The Duwamish River Cleanup Coalition
• The Equal Justice Initiative
• The Mockingbird Society
• Bike Works
• Black Girls Code
• Teen Feed
