Marten Expands Washington, D.C. Office

Marten Law is pleased to announce Jonah Brown has joined its Washington D.C. office as an Associate Attorney and that Jack Lyman has been elected a Partner in the D.C. Office.

Jonah graduated from the University of Montana Law School, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Public Lands and as Resources Law Review and Vice President of the law school’s Environmental Law Group. Jonah clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge Brian M. Morris of the United States District Court for the District of Montana. After practicing at a Missoula-based firm, Jonah moved to Washington D.C. to help expand Marten Law’s growing east coast practice. Working with other lawyers in D.C., Boston, Seattle, and Portland, Jonah will be focusing on environmental compliance for manufacturing, transportation, and food clients initially. He has experience with a broad range of state and federal environmental matters, including water quality and water rights, emerging contaminants, cleanup and cost recovery, public lands, and wildlife. He also assists with compliance issues related to renewable energy projects, forestry projects, and the firm’s growing PFAS practice.
